Save Life using GPS and IoT for the Traveler During Accident.

What is Save Life using GPS system?

Most people associate GPS technology with avid hikers, military operations, or — perhaps more commonly — as a built-in phone app for directions to that place you can never quite remember how to get to. What most people don’t realize is that GPS technology is being used to save lives around the world, from monitoring the positions of airplanes and trains to prevent crashes, to locating kidnapped children or lost hikers. The following are a few ways GPS tracking technology saves lives around the world.

Advantages of Save Life using GPS system:

Tracking criminals

Help prevent Motor Vehicle Crashes

Making Trucking Safer

Crossing Lanes While Turning

Project Aim:

Thousands lose their valuable life in vehicle accidents every day due to traffic, road condition, and speed. By using GPS antenna and the latest technological concept of IoT, accidents can be immediately reported, reduced and human life can be saved; by connecting different kinds of sensors to different parts or positions of vehicles. In-tern by making these sensors to communicate with the hospital or ambulance immediate treatment can be given to the injured person during an accident. In this paper, we have designed and implemented by connecting different sensors to vehicles, which notifies the registered members whenever an accident takes place. Using the GPS exact geographic location will be sent to the registered user. In this proposed system tilt sensor is used to detect the accident caused due to tilting, a vibration sensor detects the accident if there is a hard vibration of the vehicle due to road condition and an IR sensor is used for notifying if the vehicle is too close to some other vehicle or obstacles.
